So Peaceful!

A few days before my mother died, I walked into her hospital room to find her sleeping. She wore a light blue satin gown. Her hair was as white as snow – her skin, flawless. At 85, there were few wrinkles. She looked so peaceful! I wished I could hold onto that picture forever.

I whispered to the quiet room, “This is the way I’ll remember her.”

Today is her birthday.

I miss her!

There's no way we ever stop missing our mother. We came from her body and will always have that attachment. Even in death! Rene'
