I remember my grandmother's - my mother's mother - spring cleaning ritual. It was fearsome, and no one in her large family, including grandchildren, was excused from strict compliance. All delegated tasks were rigorously overseen like the WWI-time nurse she was, and everything had to be completed in just a few days. My mom also did some - not so painstaking - spring cleaning but she did it one room at a time over a about a month. She asked for and not ordered help and enlisted only my Dad, my sister and me. I tend to follow my mother's more relaxed spring cleaning procedures. The problem is that I don't have any recruits other than my husband, and he’s only sometimes available. So, needless-to-say, I take my time getting the job done.GrandmaShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08545284119543361019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6253781588837410177.post-52912716788047293152011-05-21T17:14:48.477-04:002011-05-21T17:14:48.477-04:00The sun does seem to bring out dirt you didn't...The sun does seem to bring out dirt you didn't know was there but I hate cleaning and would never tear up the house like yuor mom did.
